This is Thornwood: a place for images, poems, fragments, and the occasional disagreement with the age.
I have made it as a room apart. Come in for a while. Look at the pictures. Read the words. Notice what waits at the edge of the frame.
On looking twice
The first glance is often only an introduction.
Look again at the empty chair, the sleeping figure, the dog beside the bowl, the branch against the window. The world is full of small performances. Most of them do not know they are onstage.
A note on AI-wrought craft
Some images begin as photographs. Some begin as sentences. Some begin as a shape that has not yet learned its name.
AI-assisted making is part of the workshop here: not a replacement for looking, but another instrument for translating mood into form. The work remains a conversation between intention, accident, memory, and the image that finally arrives.
The old stage
The theatre never entirely closes.
A mask waits in the wings. A queen sleeps beneath painted stars. Someone has forgotten a prop beside the curtain. Even the smallest room may contain an entrance, an exit, and a role we have not yet understood.
